‘The Prize Giving – 2017’ was held on 3rd of April 2019. The event appreciated 437 students, who excelled in studies and sports. On the invitation of Principal, Mrs. Sumedha Jayaweera, Hon.Prime minister Ranil Wicramasinghe participated as the chief guest. Hon.Minister of Education Mr.Akila Viraj Kariyawasam and Hon.Minister of Power and Energy Ravi Karunanayake also presented. The 130 years old auditorium was upgraded with the assistance of the state handed over to the children by the Prime Minister.
