Our Madam Principal , Mrs.Sumedha Jayaweera has generously contributed Rs.25000/= from her April salary to the Covid 19 Health Care & Social Security Fund. The Prefects Guild of St. Paul’s Girls’ School Milagiriya too has contributed Two hundred thousand rupees to the same fund to strengthen the mitigate activities aimed at controlling the spread of Covid – 19 virus in the country & related social welfare programs .
This contribution was handed over to His Excellency Gotabaya Rajapakshe , the Executive President of the Democratic & Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on the 20th of May 2020 at the Presidential Secretariat.
This monetary contribution done by the madam principal & the Prefects Guild should be greatly appreciated by us.
